Why have some churches in America decided not to have a cross visibly present? Why is that?  Could it be that the churches who don't display a cross do not want to be offensive to some who attend their services?  This is quite possible.  Why would any Christian or minister of a Christian church ever be ashamed of having a cross present in their church?  Is it that some are misrepresenting Christ and His Church? 

If someone calls themselves a Christian or a Christian minister they are a representative of Jesus Christ.  You cannot disregard the cross when it is the central focus of your belief, and of Christ's life and purpose.  You cannot deny the chief cornerstone (Jesus Christ) and expect the Christian church to grow healthy and Christ centered.  Unfortunately, Christians all types have to stop being politically correct and represent "The Christ of The Cross."  The cross is significant to history and one's Christian walk,  because it is the only means that man has been reconciled to God.   Without the cross of Jesus Christ we are all hell bound.  But, praise God for His goodness and mercy.  Be not ashamed of the cross!    

Wesley Clarke's comment about John McCain was strategic.  The Obama campaign is using their other supporters to attack John McCain's credibility.  Obama thinks he will get away with this deceptive practice.  Wait until the skeletons come out of Obama's closet.  He was a member of a church that was clearly teaching divisive theology.  Didn't Obama's wife rant from the pulpit of her church a whiteee message? The message of unity is tickling the ears of the voters, but in reality it will do more harm to politics then we have ever seen.  Obama is doing one thing right, lying to the American people or telling them what they want to hear, but he is not going to do any of it.  I am a white American of Italian heritage and proud to be an American.  We use garlic to flavor food not wear it on our noses like Rev. White claims we do, he is a racist and Obama's mentor, don't kid yourself.  God Bless America!
